Interviewed Oct 2009 (took a day)
Communication was all done through the career center at school. An information session was held the night before with generics about the company followed by a short question-and-answer session. The interview was strictly behavioral and consisted of very vague 'what would you do' questions. The entire process felt more or less like a place to meet the recruiter face to face and to fill out the required department of defense background check paperwork.

Interviewed Sep 2009 in Orlando, FL (took a day)
First you have to register on Lockheed’s website and upload your resume and cover letter. Then you can apply for whatever job you want that you feel you qualify for.
What happens next, if anything, is a recruiter will call you for an interview at the local recruiting center. At the interview you will most likely be given a presentation about Lockheed Martin before your interview which will talk the company’s products, benefits, and community relations. Then you will most likely go into a group interview consisting of 2 or more managers. The interview will probably not be very structured. They may ask you why Lockheed Martin and about things on your resume. The interview will last about 30 minutes. The interview is very laid back and the managers are very nice and receptive. After the interview you will be asked to give an exit interview where they will ask you question about your current job, why you want to get a new job, salary requirements, and other companies you maybe interviewing with. This part of the process will take about 15 minutes. The whole process will take about an hour or two.
After your interview day it will be on average a month before you hear anything from your recruiter about the position. Overall a good experience, but the unstructured nature of the interview makes it difficult to prepare for. My suggestion would be to have a good statement about yourself prepared and a good reason for choosing Lockheed. Also, be familiar with the job description that is listed because that will give you a hint as to the types of questions they may ask or you can ask them about.

Interviewed Mar 2009 in Eagan, MN (took a day)
Brought on-site. First met with HR rep who went over employment details and benefits, then interviewed with the department manager and an Engineer. It was strange, they presented details about the company and asked very little questions of me or my background. I had to almost interrupt to explain my skill set. Never got a call back, I think they already had settled on someone by the time my interview was scheduled.

Interviewed Aug 2008 (took a day)
23 minute phone interview, where they asked about my background, and whether I had certain skills. Never visited the facility before I took the offer. The described the organization of the project, but it was so complicated without at a minimum a drawing very hard to visualize. After starting I became aware that they had so much attrition that they were backfilling at an incredible rate and taking pretty much anyone who applied. I have talked with the other fresh hires and they hired many people outside of their skillsets.

Negotiation Details
Did not need to negotiate for much they provided full relocation, and a nice raise. I tried to get a sign on bonus and was unable to swing that, but did get agreement on a raise the next year, when most companies would require you wait for the following year.

Interviewed Oct 2009 in Maryland City, MD (took a day)
It was very straight forward. The interviewer was nice and asked the standard defense contracting anteriors. What was a positive and negative experience and how did you deal with them? Was not to clear on how well you did after the interview since you are just entered into another database for a second round of approval.

Interviewed Oct 2009 (took a day)
I interviewed with Lockheed at a campus interview after the career fair. They asked several questions based on behavior. It took half an hour in a room with one interviewer. She asked questions like what is an idea of a success. Also name a time when you had to communicate with someone to fix a problem. It was a basic interview.

Interviewed Oct 2009 (took a day)
I was asked several personality based questions. I thought the interview was fair, and reasonably technical. They asked about previous projects and work experience. I think the culture seemed laid back and relaxed yet still focused on achieving mission for the government.

Interviewed Sep 2009 (took a day)
Attended a career fair at the university, open to all students and alumni, and received a phone call a few hours later requesting an on campus interview. It was a one on one behavioral interview, which they all are these day, that lasted 30 minutes. The interviewer said, they want to see if you can fit in within the company and that they can teach you or guide you to learn the technical stuff they require. Very relaxed and easy going interview.

Interviewed Mar 2009 (took a day)
Standard behavioral interview questions. I interviewed with an older gentlemen who seemed rather stern and cold. Surprisingly only took about 20 minutes. Questions that stood out (as far as I can remember) were pretty stale standard ones like tell me about a time when you had to take the lead in a project ... or had to deal with a conflict and how you came about resolving it and what the overall outcome was. I think my mistake may have been that I did not ask enough questions at the end (although I did ask some pretty good ones) so make sure you have not only done research on the company and position but that you have thought of some good, intelligent questions to ask. That's how you sell you interest in the position, because apparently showing up well prepared for the onslaught of questions is not enough, you all know how that goes.

Interviewed Dec 2008 in Fort Worth, TX (took a day)
I applied online and within a month or two I was called. They flew me out to Fort Worth and put me up for the night. The next day I went in for my interview. I was interviewd by two sets. The first set was two employees from my department. Then one person from HR. The first interview consisted mainly of behavioral questions such as, "Tell me about a time when..." They also wanted to know how much I knew about Lockheed Martin and Aeronautics specifically. I went into my interview knowing about aeronautics and planes but doing research and reading the annual reports and company website gave me more information. Also going through bloomberg.com for articles impressed them, that I knew so much. Another portion of the time we spent talking about schools and my experience at my school and what types of leadership roles I have taken on.
The second interview was a very basic and more of a follow up to make sure I was eligible to work for Lockheed, as a defense contractor.
