Interviewed Jul 2011 (took 3 months)
Took seven interviews to get the job. Followup was consistent but the hiring process is slow overall. Expect to take at least 90-120 days. They entice you with possibilities for growth but the trade off is an initial low salary.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in New York, NY (took a day)
I Interviewed for a public relations internship position that a connection told me about. They asked me to come in the next day I emailed, so that felt a little bit rushed and I wish I had more time to prepare. I met with the PR manager for women's wear and menswear respectively. They were both nice and polite, but they made it clear that they are just looking for someone to get coffee, make photocopies, and pack garment bags in the closet.

Interviewed Jan 2012 (took 2 days)
Here I met with two people, the first being an assistant manager. She had a wonderful personality, was honest, asked many high-value questions about my experience and asked if I had knowledge about the brand. It was more of what felt like a chat rather than an interview, which I enjoyed because it made me feel more comfortable.
The Store Director ( fancy name for store manager ) met with me next and I have to say that I was let down by her interviewing skills. Her questions were rather vague, she had not even read my resume, and I felt she was on the edge of unprofessional as she actually laughed at my answer to one of her questions. When I had called the next day to thank her for the interview she did not return my phone call and decided to send me an email instead.
I would have thought Louis Vuitton's management was trained to interview in a detailed and professional manner ; it was clear that both women whom I interviewed with were not on the same page. As someone who has experience in luxury retail I left the interview feeling un-fullfilled and disappointed.
If you are interviewing with this LV be sure to brush up on your knowledge about the company, i.e heritage, collections and a little about the creative director helps :)

Interviewed Sep 2009 in New York, NY (took 2 days)
The internship (unpaid for school credit) was through my campus's career center. Initial correspondence via email. Then, onto the interviews.
First I met with the assistant, then the manager, then director, and then Senior Vice President. This took a total of 2 trips. Mainly fit questions as this was an unpaid internship for school credit, however, an enthusiasm is definitely helpful.
Easy transition into actual work. Minimal paperwork overall which was nice. Great culture, despite coworkers claiming it was "corporate". Beautiful offices.

Interviewed Jul 2010 in Moscow (Russia) (took 1 week)
I applied to the Marketing Trainee position. I got a one phone interview to review my english skills and then one face 2 face interview with a product manager. I guess i didn't show enough motivation for this job, so they hadn't called me.

Interviewed Sep 2009 in Las Vegas, NV (took a day)
I submitted my resume on Louis Vuitton's website and they connected me within the week to schedule the interview. The online application only allow you to submit resume, you don't need to provide additional job history or education background. They did ask you to fill out an actual application before the actual interview. The interview itself was quiet short, maybe they just didn't see me as a fit candidate from first impression.
