Interviewed Jan 2012 in Visalia, CA (took 2 days)
I had two interviews on two different days. The first interview was fast and simple. Felt kind of rushed because she was very busy. The second interview was with a manger. She was very friendly and made me feel comftorable. She asked me basic interview questions. Basically past experiences, why do you want to work for Lowes etc. Now Im waiting for my background check to clear and I should be hired.

Interviewed Mar 2009 (took 3 weeks)
After the phone interview I was asked to come in at a set time to interview with the manager. When I arrived, I was actually interviewed by a different manager, who then set up another date and time for me to come back again. The process seemed to take long because I was out of work at the time however, I realize they were moving fast considering they have other tasks like running a store to deal with as well.

Interviewed Sep 2011 (took a day)
I was called for an interview after applying online. From start to finish, the interview process was very professional. I was interviewed by the HR manager, and next by the store manager. It was a detailed, common-sense interview, which provided plenty of opportunities for discussion and additional detail. A drug test followed (cheek swab, in-store), and then I was told to wait while the background check was completed (3-5 days). After that time, I got a call from the HR manager, and was offered the job. After many half-ass interviews with other companies, I was very impressed with the process at Lowes, and look forward to working with them. Yea!

Interviewed Apr 2011 (took a day)
I applied online and got a call a week or so later to schedule an interview. I went in and had two interviews in the same day, one with an hr director and the second with a manager. They asked the general questions of "tell me about a time when....". They told me they needed to run a background check first and a week later they called me and offered me the job.

Interviewed Sep 2011 (took 1 week)
Applied online, got a call a few days after asking me to come in for an interview. Wen in, and was interviewed for about an hour. Was asked if I could make a second interview the next day with the store manager. Came in the next day, interviewed with the manager. When the interview was over, he said I would definitely get a call back. Got a call about a week later from HR asking me if I would like the job. Went in that same day for a drug test.

Interviewed Apr 2011 in Springfield, MO (took a day)
There is one interview. If you are chosen to come back it will be after your background check is completed and you will take a drug test. The interview is somewhat long because of the insane # of questions. The Human Resources Manager begins the interview and hands off to the Store Manager. I assume you won't make it to the Store Manager if the HR manager doesn't see any potential. The questions were very specific regarding past situations and how you handled them including workplace conflict, projects, how you work with/without supervision, ect. Normal interview questions you can find on any website, but be prepared with specific examples and how you resolved them.

Interviewed Sep 2011 in Lexington, KY (took 2 weeks)
I interviewed with two different people who both asked me very generic, cookie cutter questions that are predictable for a job interview. you can google interview questions to practice. I was there for over an hour and that was kind of frustrating. There was a lot of sitting and waitng.

Interviewed Nov 2009 in Alpharetta, GA (took 3 weeks)
The interview process was very standard and straight-forward. There was a three part process to the interview involving 3 different managers of the store. Once you went through them all they would give you a drug test and a background check. If those come back with no problem then you get a call with an offer.
