No Offer – Interviewed in Milan, TN Apr 2013 – Reviewed May 10, 2013 New
Interview Details – The interview was done by asking questions off a paper. Instead of giving me a response, the HR Manager and Store Manager just wrote down my answers. I had no idea if they liked my responses or what they thought. It was very impersonal. I felt more like a number and not a person. I think they hired someone already at Lowe's, since they told me that there were a few people there that wanted to interview also. If that's the case, why do they waste people's time?
Interview Question – What does Customer Service mean to you? What was your biggest accomplishment? Answer Question

Interview Details – To get any kind of response you have to bug the crap out of their HR manager. Doing this will show initiative. Just like any retailer they ask situational questions about your previous job. You usually have about 2-3 different interviews before getting an answer on the position that you are interested in. If you have ever had any experience in the position your applying for it doesn't matter. I have found out that this company will hire anybody for any position.
Interview Question – N/A Answer Question
Negotiation Details – It was very straight forward. At the time they were paying more than any other job I had applied for at the time.

Interview Details – After Lowe's called me a few times for other positions to just tell me I was being considered for the positions and never get the job nor a phone interview, I finally get a phone interview. Due to me applying for several position about a month or two ago I didn't know which position I was being interviewed for, so my interview didn't get off on the right foot. It was a standard interview and I was told that they will call me back if I got the job. A few days later I get an email saying I was not picked for a job.
Interview Question – Very standard questions about availability, skills, why you want to work at Lowe's. Answer Question
Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Asheville, NC May 2013 – Reviewed May 1, 2013
Interview Details – I applied online and received a phone call about a week later. I had a f2f interview with the HR Manager and another short one immediately after with the Assistant Store Manager. All questions were scenario style asking what you would do if/have done when, none too difficult to answer. After that it took a few days for the background check to be done and then I went in for the drug test. Orientation scheduled for a few days from now and hoping to get a decent schedule after that.
