    Application

I applied online. The process took 1 dayinterviewed at Lowe's (Omaha, NE) in April 2015.

    Interview

The interviewer asked me about 10 questions and wrote down all my answers. The question were all about my previous experiences on the job. Did you, and have you ever questions. The interviewer wanted me to explain my answers, and go into the past and with detail. It was a workout and seemed draining.

    Interview

Applied online. Was called a couple days later to come in for face to face interview. HR manager was very friendly. Once going through about seven behavior/experience questions, he asked if I had questions for him. He said they would make their decision over the weekend and call everyone back. They called back on Monday to let me know that they gave the position to an internal candidate, but would like to offer me a position as a seasonal cashier. Went ahead and accepted offer, which I was then asked to come in for a drug test. She said that the orientation would be in a week.

    Interview Questions

    • All questions that were asked were the same as listed from previous posts on Glassdoor. I went though and typed all questions that were asked in previous interviews and applied my experience and feelings to each question. Once in the interview, I was able to quickly respond with detailed answers. The only question that I had not seen on Glassdoor which threw me off was, "Tell me about a time you had to help others to get away from an unsafe situation?" I told the HR manager that I could explain a time that I had to inform my employer of a situation that was legally unsafe for the company and needed immediate attention. He said that would be fine.   1 Answer

    Interview

Was a laid back process. Manager was very easy to talk comfortably with. Asked questions found off this site , all very basic "tell me about a time you..." type questions. I found a good review on this site before my interview that actually had every question I was asked.

    Interview Questions

    • Did not find any challenging questions. All were easy to answer with some retail experience.   Answer Question

    Interview

Applied online, took a week to get an interview. The HR was very nice, and it was by far the best interview I've done. It felt like she was genuinely interested in what I had to say and was happy I was there. Had me fill out the paperwork and began the questions, which altogether took about 25-30 minutes. Then she told me she would let me know as soon as she could. She then called me the next day telling me I didn't get that exact job, but she wanted me to apply for a different one (and she could use my interview for that one as well). I applied for a full-time seasonal position and was offered that job. Went in for a drug test a few days later. The drug test took a little over a week. Once it was cleared she called me in for orientation.

    Interview

I went into the HR office and she had me fill out a paper that determined my availability and then she had me read over the job requirements. I had one interview it was pretty easy she asked basic behavioral questions. She offered me the job right after all of the questions and then had me sit in another room for a minute while she decided my pay. She brought me back in and had me do the drug screening which is a saliva one that I did right in her office. I filled out a few more pieces of paper work and that was it.
