Interviewed Mar 2011 in San Antonio, TX (took a day)
I was an internal candidate. Interview consisted of situational questions and how would you sell this and take care of your customers. How would you compete with a Home Depot in the same parking lot. 1:1 with HR manager then a 1:1 with store manager. Made the offer on the spot

Interviewed Sep 2009 in Orangeburg, NY (took a day)
Sat with human resources department along with the Sales Manager face to face. They asked a number of questions regarding my sales and service experience as well as my experience with flooring installations and products. Was a very straight forward and reasonable interview.

No wiggle room. Was told that I was offered the ceiling for hourly range. I had researched average wages for Lowes for the position and it seemed to be on target. I am interviewing next week for a management position and am interested to see how it plays out.
Other Details
I applied In-Person and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview.

Interviewed Apr 2010 (took 4 days)
Interview process consisted of three rounds of interviews. First round was a one on one interview with the HR Manager. Second round (which happened the same day for me) included the Sales Manager and the HR Manager together. Finally I had a brief interview with the Store Manager and was offered the position.
Questions consisted of recalling past retail sales experience. Overcoming challenging scenarios, and basic knowledge questions pertaining to the position. A background check and drug test were administered when the job offer was accepted.
