The interview was long, with questions coming from two different people. They are very vague and it's kinda difficult to understand where they are coming from and what type of answer they want. Their background check is pretty intense, and they do the drug test on site. Good luck, and God bless.

I filled out an online application and visited the HR Manager twice before getting an interview set up. It was a two person interview concept - Head of HR and a Ops Manager both asked questions back and forth. Some were odd considering my military career but normal for corporate America I suppose. The atmosphere was very friendly but had numerous interruptions (phone, knocks at the door etc). I expect this is very normal for a fast paced retail outlet of a large corporation. Both managers did a lot of writing during the interview process. I was given instructions to return in a week for a follow up interview. Overall very positive interview.

I had been a CSA working for lowe's for just over a month when a sales specialist job was offered to me by my zone manager. About a month after applying for it, I had the interview with both the HR manager and my zone manager taking turns asking me the typical standerdized questions that they ask you in your first interview. Lasted about 30 min.

Currently work at lowes as a CSA, applied for a specialist possition in Kitchen Cabinets. Applied through the Lowes internal application process. Interviewed 1:1, never offered the possition, they offfered it to another lowes associate.

I had an initial interview that I scheduled by phone with HR. I was 15 min. early but I had to wait over an hour as the HR manager was running late and then I had to wait while she ate her lunch and interviewed someone else! Finally, I was led to a room where I had 2 people interviewing me, both asking questions and writing observations. Both were very polite and friendly. Everyone in general is very polite and friendly at Lowes, that seems to be a primary quality they look for in candidates. My second interview was with the store manager where I was offered a secondary position with lower pay and no benefits. I then took a drug test (mouth swab).
