Interviewed May 2011 in Columbia, MD (took a day)
Interview process was very easy. Almost too easy. Just talk about my skills, what the company did and what they were trying to accomplish in the department I was going to be working for. I spend the first half hour talking to the head of the department then I met 3 other individuals I would be working with. Once the interview was over. Then walked me out and I was contacted about a week later and offered the job.

Interviewed Mar 2010 in Columbia, MD (took a day)
This interview was for an internship position. The interview process was slightly informal, not to say that it was a piece of cake. My manager and I walked through my college resume. The first thing he asked me was to tell him what I know about MICROS. I told him all the knowledge I had acquired from my extensive research, and he was impressed when I told him what the acronym MICROS stands for. He also asked me to elaborate on my college experiences, and the aspirations I had for my future. He then brought his boss in, who asked me more detailed and specific questions about my major, and he looked at my resume on a more meticulous level. Overall, it was a great interview experience. I felt comfortable and confident after the initial 5 minutes. The people at MICROS are personable and friendly; if you do your research and come prepared you will do fine.

Interviewed May 2010 (took 2 days)
It was a basic interview process for any software engineering job. The phone interview asked basic technical questions. Then for the face to face interview I talked with a recruiter, 2 different project managers and the CTO. It seemed like a good place to work for if all you care about is the quality of the work they produce.

Reason for Declining
My issue was that they do not offer any flex time or work from home days. They seemed really stingy about being there at very specific times, so I was worried about constant micromanagement. I have always worked in laid back environments and met all of my deadlines. I do not need somebody checking my desk at 8:01 and complaining that I arrived late by 1 minute. I also do not need somebody looking over my shoulder every other minute to see if I am actually working or taking a 5 minute break to read my personal email and the news.

Interviewed Apr 2009 (took 4 days)
It started out as a phone interview, which took a while to receive after applying for the job. Phone interview they just gauged my personality and asked me what I was doing and when could I come in. Afer the phone interview I met with a series of people. The first set of people where people in the same field the I was applying for. They where very straight forward and nice, they just sat back and talked to you about previous job experiences. After that you met with management first was immediate manager. Who again gauged your personality and past work experiences. After that you met with their manager who was the hardest part of the interview. He explained the process and asked more questions related to the field. From there he gave you 5 minutes to teach him anything and you could use anything in the office it didn't matter what. I choose to teach him how to make a paper airplane. This process is to see how well you present information in a tough environment. Remember there is no wrong answer on what you can teach him. Then after him you meet with the GM. Which is just basically to verify everything from all the feed back he has received.
