Interviewed Jan 2009 in Philadelphia, PA (took 2 weeks)
Started with phone interviews with the recruiters then one corporate screener. There was a preliminary interview day followed by a final day. The two days included 5 individual interviews and 1 group interview with the functional and leadership teams. There was a CDI corporate day with 3 final interviews. The negotiation process was also very collegial and we quickly agreed. The interviews were excellent and the individuals were enjoyable but there has been massive turnover in the last 2 years so this has changed.

Interviewed Jun 2009 (took 1+ week)
Face to face was very fun. Just a one on one with the boss, and he asked me to sell myself. I thought he was kidding, but then he was for real.
It was not easy, but it was very fun. The MRI staff knows the trade, they are great salespeople and they can recognize someone who is or isn't very quickly. They look for the talent in people.
It doesn't matter what degree or certs you have.... what matters is your talent, so you have to show them what you are capable of!
Negotiation Details
Very tough negotiators and closers. Beware!
Other Details
The interview consisted of a Phone Interview and a 1:1 Interview.

Interviewed Mar 2009 (took 3 weeks)
Completed a phone screen from MRI Recruiter. Spoke multiple times. Very good approach. Non-threatening and pleasant, informative. Met with Owner of Retained Search franchise. Very comfortable and thorough face to face interview. Definitely hit it off. Shared a lot of the same views on the executive search industry.
