Interviewed Nov 2010 in London, England (United Kingdom) (took 6 weeks)
One week from my application online had a phone interview with a HR representative. It took roughly 30minutes and questions were mostly general. Qestions about my resume, what did I do earlier on that day, why Microsoft, why I think I would fit the role well...
I couldn't answer the last question properly because I haven't read the advert before. But the recruiter was so nice that she gave me another chance on next day. Then I explained deeply my understanding of requirements for the position and tried to find an analogy in my previous experience... It went well but I had to wait 1 week for her decision...
After one week I was asked to come in to company hq in one week time...
Personal interview went quite well - I was interviewed by 2 people at the same time. A senior Ad Op Man and the Head of Ad Ops...
Half of questions were quite general - tell us about yourself, how do you cope under pressure, where do you see yourself in 5 years, etc..
Second half was related to MSN, their competitors, their current campaigns, tools they're using, etc...
After that I had a 15-20mins written test - some basic HTML and Javascript stuff...
Overall very pleasant experience... People were really nice...
