Interviewed May 2011 (took 1 week)
I received an email from HR asking to fill out an intern questionnaire including standard info questions and when I'd be available for an interview. I had my first interview with HR and got through it. She placed me with departments of my choice to have a second interview with. My potential supervisor could only do phone interviews so we scheduled for one about a week after my interview with HR. She asked pretty standard questions, nothing too hard and I got an offer about 2 hours after.

Interviewed Apr 2011 in New York, NY (took 4 days)
I applied online and got an interview email. It just took 1 day to setup an interview . The process was pretty fast. I had an interview with The supervisor and she was very sweet and cordial. First interview of,y life. Went really swift. I was asked about my academics and academic projects and my interests. Thats its. Got the answer right there. I had a chance to ask about the ongoing projects and what would i be working on. Was given a department tour and introduced to everyone. Everyone was very humble and nice. And the HR process was also very swift and everything was done in a few days.

Interviewed Apr 2011 in New York, NY (took 4+ weeks)
You will go through a preliminary phone interview, then have several interviews (phone and in person) with people you could potentially work under. The overall atmosphere here is relaxed and laid back, but they are still looking for professional and experience people. They are helpful and offer insight into making it to the next step of the process.

Interviewed Sep 2011 (took a day)
The process for me consisted of a 1 on 1 interview with the supervisor of the department. She said she would get back to me in about a week since she had to interview a few other candidates before making a decision. The atmosphere seemed pretty laid back and MTV seemed like a fun working environment.

Interviewed Jul 2010 (took 4 weeks)
the HR department screened applicants with a phone interview, mostly consisting of behavioral question and walking them through your resume. they'll then place you in the appropriate department and the person from that department will directly interview you. Questions are mostly behavioral, nothing too unexpected.

It was a very simple interview. I spoke with my soon-to-be intern supervisor and she asked me how my experiences related to the specific internship.

Interviewed Jun 2010 in New York, NY (took 3 weeks)
Interview took a long time. I had my first ph interview and they asked me a few pre-screening questions. Then I had my second interview for an intern position. They asked me about my college and work experience. Very easy. Then I was never called back and finally after calling them and leaving many messages I received a different position within the company.

Interviewed Aug 2010 in New York, NY (took 2 months)
I applied in the Spring and received a call in early Summer from HR. They asked general resume questions/what are my passions, and then gave me some ideas for which departments would be a good fit. They told me they were forwarding me through the process (which I was incredibly psyched about), and then I waited and waited for that next step for about a month. Finally I received an e-mail with a department contact, setup a phone interview for the next day, and had a great (if somewhat one-sided on their part) conversation. They offered me the internship, and I accepted--it was an absolutely amazing experience, and I honestly owe everything of my current career to them :).
