Interviewed Feb 2010 (took 1 week)
About two weeks after I applied online, I received an email for a phone interview with HR for the next week. It was painful and friendly, very much like a good conversation with someone, but also informative on both ends. After the phone interview, I received an email about a week later for an in-office interview which was with team members who I'd work with.

Interviewed May 2008 (took a day)
the company called me to say they were interested in interviewing me for a position. i wasn't really looking at the time and wondered how they got my information but thought it couldn't hurt to go in. I had no idea what the job was an what it entailed, i was directed to read the description on their website.
i went in to the interview with the HR person. she was very nice and very candid. She explained about a new division they starting and what the daily responsibilities of the job were. After hearing the extremely low salary range (and thinking the job would be more of a step back.) I thanked the interview for the opportunity and declined to participate further in the interview process.

The interviewer was more impressed with where and with whom I had worked than asking me questions. Left not knowing much of the job.

Interviewed Feb 2007 in New York, NY (took a day)
I found it a very simple process, and actually felt I had the job before I had even arrived, and going in to meet with my executive producer of the department was just a technicality. It was a fairly casual conversation about what they did in the department and I explained how I would be able to help them in various situations. I also showed all the work in my portfolio. I left with the job.
