Interview Details – Received an email for an interview, scheduled it for later that week. Interview went wonderfully, really connected with who I would be replacing and working under. The next day I received a call from the hiring manager who wanted to schedule a meeting with me. We did so for the next week - interview with her was a little more stiff. Company then took a month to get back to me only after weeks worth of contact and checking in, this felt very rude to me.

Interview Details – Applied online. I had given up on it but two months after I applied I received an email asking if I was still interested. Soon thereafter, I had a phone interview with a college relations coordinator. A few simple questions, about a 10 minutes long. Then I had an in person interview with what would become my intern supervisor (who was a Marketing Manager) and another manager who I would soon work with. About 30 minutes long. Questions about what I knew about the Entertainment and Media industry, my educational background, resume points, why did I want to intern at Viacom, and a breakdown about what I would be doing and what the department is all about. The next day I had a quick 10 minute long phone interview with another manager I would be working closely with (who wasn't able to attend the in person interview).. Next day got the YES.

Accepted Offer – Interviewed in New York, NY Dec 2008 – Reviewed Dec 27, 2012
Interview Details – I was referred by a friend - the coordination of the interview took about a week of back and forth (their HR department I would come to learn is inept). The interview was very informational and there were some curve balls (it was 4 years ago and I don't remember too well). They asked me Finance / Accounting questions, and also asked me a lot about my background and studies (I was fresh out of college then). Overall an informal interview that covered the basics.
