Interviewed Feb 2009 in Sydney (Australia) (took 2 months)
There were multiple interviews and the process took quite a while. I was undergoing multiple interviews elsewhere but when I told the recruiter that, they were able to speed up my application and make an offer.

Interviewed Mar 2010 in New York, NY (took a day)
I applied through school career website and was contacted a month later. The interview consisted of two half an hour group interviews, one after another. The questions that I was asked were less behavioral, so there was some degree of conversation rather than question and answer. One question that they asked is "name one of your weaknesses." As for advice, show them that you really want the job.

Interviewed Oct 2008 in Sydney (Australia) (took 2 weeks)
Best advise:
Prepare for psychometric assesment (all mutliple choice). 3 subjects Abstract, Verbal and Personality. I practiced quite a lot but ended up failing the verbal test which I found surprising.
Interview itself was average.

Interviewed Aug 2010 in London, England (United Kingdom) (took a day)
Details were submitted through a recruitment agency. They require an IKM test to be completed prior to being offered an interview. Usually would be a phone interview, but this was skipped due to past work experience. Full process consists of telephone interview, initial interview, technical interview, aptitude testing and a final interview to determine fit into the bank.
First interview lasted 2 hours and was performed by 2 people asking a series of technical questions across Java, JEE, SQL and past business experience. This was followed by a more focused technical interview asking detailed Java/JEE/development questions and lasted approximately 45 mins.
All interviewers were friendly and happy to clarify/provide details on the questions being asked. They were probing to understand how deep your experience is. They were able to handle the technical details provided and demonstrated strong technical knowledge. Key considerations are depth of technical knowledge and very much on how well you would fit into the existing team.
No information was given on the culture, working environment or even the role prior to the final interview - which I did not make.

Interviewed Aug 2010 in City of London, England (United Kingdom) (took 4 days)
Had to give an IKM test and C++ coding exercise. Was then called for a F2F at their Moorgate office. The guy was really angry at something. Had a wriiten down set of questions which, he asked. Didn't appreciate answers which weren't worded, which he had in his mind. Was aloof and was yawning in my face. Didn't know how recursive functions are written, so when I wrote one, said I was wrong. I didn't argue with him as I had already been turned off by his attitude. And didn't explain the role properly.
