i had to schedule myself for an interview at Macy`s website, which showed availability after a week of getting an email of being selected. It was at one a clock and I met this really warm woman who said she would be interviewing me for the position of a retail associate, turns out that before she even started she told me there weren't really looking for and asked me what i would like to work as, then she told me at the moment there were no availabilities to which I was slightly disappointed because I naturally assumed there was an opening and they were making selections.Then she goes in and calls on another of her superior who interviews me ,and says I should check back in two days time.So the interview was quiet good, but I am left with an uncertain answer if they wanted to hire someone or not.

After applying online, I received an e-mail to come in for an interview. Upon arriving at human resources, you wait in the lobby (possibly with others) until the person interviewing you is ready (a department manager). Be sure to make your answers customer service related.

Applied online, the process was long but you dont have to do it over again if you do it once. I applied to different places and got three interviews. I had one interview two weeks ago and I thought it is was ok but I got denied and now I have another interview thursday but for Macys have have to two interview and I never got called in for a second interview.

It was pretty stressful at first, but once i got to the office, it was not a big deal at all. The lady interviewing me was pretty nice, and she was veryhelpful when she answered my questions. The only problem that I had was with deciding what the wear! I did not know if i should wear what the sales clerks wore on teh floor or business casual so i just ended up wearing a suit.
