No Offer – Interviewed in Pasadena, CA May 2013 – Reviewed May 17, 2013 New
Interview Details – I applied online, within 2 days got an email inviting me for the interview, for 1 week later. I arrived 10 minutes early, She came an introduced herself, she seemed very nice and friendly, quite casual. All She did was read from a list of questions, then wrote down my answers, nothing difficult all the questions have been posted on here. She then left the room for a couple of minutes telling me she will check what they have, On her return she said I'm sorry we don't have any positions available at this time, I will keep your application open, Thank you for your time. It ended very abruptly. 4 Days later i receive an email saying thank you for your interest but we do not have positions to suit your expertise at this time.. I don't understand why they post Job offers when they don't have any to give?? Its a waste of everyone's time.

Interview Details –
I had submitted my application and resume online and got an email the next day asking to schedule an interview. Within the time between scheduling and the actual interview I mostly looked on this website for insight as to what to expect when I am there. The questions are pretty much the same as everything that is on here from "Why do you want to work at Macy's?" to "What would you do if you say an employee or customer acting suspiciously?" The woman I interviewed with was very nice, friendly, and easy going.
In general if you want to have a good interview I'd say get there around ten minutes early, make sure you go over in your head what you would say to the questions posted on this website, and be natural. They like honest people who aren't shy and nervous. Try to be welcoming to any person you see while you're going to or waiting for your interview as well, I actually met my interviewer downstairs before I even knew who she was.
Interview Question –
"Describe a situation where you were forced to make a quick decision that you were unhappy in making?"
She said, though, that if I had not experienced it then just to say if I would get over it or brood over it the whole day. Obviously the better answer to say is that you would get over it.
Answer Question
Negotiation Details – There was no negotiation. As I was going for a part-time, non-commission, flexible scheduling option they could only put me in three departments that all paid minimum wage.

Interview Details – I went into the waiting area where they hold interviews, and waited about 20-25 minutes but I was about 10 minutes early. The interviewer was a very nice lady, she took me into a small office and asked me a number of questions, most of them are available on here. I was a bit nervous initially but overall I didn't feel like the interview process went terrible. She said she would be in touch and I received an email a day or two later telling me that I did not get the job.

Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Columbia, MD May 2013 – Reviewed May 12, 2013 New
Interview Details – I showed up to the interview 5 minutes early and upon arrival the folks in the office had no idea who was supposed to be interviewing me. When they finally found him, he came up and we immediately set to business. The questions were pretty simple, though he talked very fast and I felt a bit rushed. There are the standard "where do you see yourself..." and "what would you do in this scenario..." questions. I was offered a job at the conclusion of the interview.
Interview Question – "What would you consider to be your biggest weakest/strength?" Is always pretty difficult. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – Nearly nonexistent. I said that I've been steadily getting increased pay over the last years and wanted/expected $8.00 but he said the job was $7.90.
