Applied online, they sent an email with a link to schedule appointment for interview. Waited 15 minute, interview was a 5-7 minute affair. Asked about why I thought I would be a good fit, previous experience, etc.

I applied online for the AST Associate position. I got an email back with an interview date and time. When I went there, it was AST Supervisor who took my interview. It was almost an hour long and he described me what the position was about and other details about the job. After that he told me that AST position is no more available and if I want I can join there Sales team, which was awkward for me because I went there for a different position. I did not accept the offer for a Sales position.

I applied online at macys.com, and received a computer generated email to schedule an interview through their website. I drove at outside the city just to get to the interview by the way. When i got their, there were several people waiting, and the interviewer was late. She interviewed me and this other person for a sales associate position, when I really applied for administrative support. I felt very mislead. Afterwards, she said she really liked us, but there are no open positions, so she is going to keep our applications on file. I thought it was very rude to have me drive all the way out there, to get told that the position has been already filled! In addition, I did not apply for the sales associate position, so why interview me for that! They obviously don't care about the candidates and employees!
I called another location in regards to their positions, and they told me it was already filled, except they aren't taking the position off the website! What a waste of people's time.

When I walked in, there were at least 2 other people waiting to be interviewed. The interviewer took me and another person for a group interview. First of all, she interviewed me for a position that I didn't apply for. Second of all, the position was not even open, and wasted our time by interviewing us. The interview was very impersonal, however, the interviewer was very nice. After the interview was over, she said the position was filled. What a waste of our time. Very unprofessional!
