There were two one on one interviews. The first one generally asked about any retail or customer service experience, what you would do in certain situations, whether or not you are able to work on days such as Black Friday, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve and New Years day. The second interview you fill in more details, and you are asked to describe how you would offer the Macy's card to the employer.

I waited in the waiting area for a few minutes, the hiring manager came out and took me and another person into a small room and asked us a few questions each, then she took me into her office asked me a few questions about myself then offered me the job.

Walked in applied on computer, asked for HR, Asked what open positions there were and said what I wanted, A manager came for an interview 2 hrs later and asked 3 Q about my work experience and sales and offer me a job.

Negotiation Details
I was offer $8 an hour and asked for $11, I received $9.25. If you don't ask for more u wont get it. I also said I cant work before 9 am or after 9pm due to transportation so i rarely had to work the 10pm closing shift on weekends and Christmas.

I applied In-Person and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview.
