I applied through an employee referral and the process took 1 week - interviewed at Madison Concourse Hotel in September 2012.
Interview Details – Pretty straightforward. This company advertises vacancies on Craigslist. You submit yout application, HR reaches out to you, and schedules a phone interview. If that's sucessful, you're brought in for a interview with a manager from the department. Most of the questions are pretty behavioral. They ask for instances when you've been able to give exceptional customer service, etc.
Interview Question – From what I can tell, if you have experience applying your background to an interview, you'll be fine. There weren't any curveballs or breathless moments. Answer Question
Pros: Everyone working the front line of customer service (front desk, bell, housekeeping) is friendly. The hotel has quite a few corporate contracts that are pretty good at keeping occupancy relatively high throughout the year. – Full Review
