Interview Details –
First, when you apply online they invite you for an interview by email. In this email they pretty much describe how the interview will be structured and how many time it will take.
Once at their office, you conduct a logic test and a personality test, which will determine whether you are elegible to work within the company. The same day you have an interview with a HR representative.
The questions the ask you are pretty much behaviour type of questions and I would encourage you to practice conventional interview questions before going there. It is not rocket signs.

Interview Details – There were in total 6 interviews. First was the IQ/Skills/Personality Test. Then there was an HR round. After the HR round was over they told us to either wait for 3-4 hours or come the next day as the Operations Manager was busy. I decided to wait because I didnt want to waste another day. Finally the operations round started with the General Manager taking the interview. The interview went for an hour. The questions were about the previous experience. Then there were chain of interview with on shore counterparts where we spoke about my previous experiences and my current role and responsibilities. Each interview went for a couple of hours. There was a panel interview, a video conference and also 1:1.

Declined Offer – Interviewed in Jan 2012 – Reviewed Jun 9, 2012
Interview Details – The initial screening by HR and the subsequent aptitude and subject area tests were held using a questionnaire. After which the IQ Test and the Personality Tests were held. Then I was asked to take up the interview with the manager. The questionnaire pertaining to my subject area was quite good and was covers the whole area. Also the IQ and Personality Tests were quite good. However, things are good in paper at Maersk and not in person.
Reason for Declining – The attitude of the manager conducing the interview was arrogant and aggresive. She/He was not soft spoken and literally had an attitude of a "I KNOW IT . YOU DONT" person. They simply want to prove that the one being interviewed does not know anything. This organization seems to be not a great place to work. Further, most of their positions are vacant for a long time indicating their hiring process is ineffective and this approach of the managers could be a cause as well. Also, one should search for the history of the disputes between the organization and its employees and this will paint a good picture of the organization.
