Interviewed Dec 2011 in Toronto, ON (Canada) (took 2 weeks)
The process involves: an initial pre-screen "surprise" phone call - asking various generic questions including: my previous work experience, why I wanted a job in sales, and what I know about Marcus Evans. 1st interview - 1 hour, 1-on-1. They tell you to prepare yourself by going to the website and researching the company - basic interview. At the end of the interview you are going to get an example of a conference - it is going to be used in the second interview when you are going to get the call. 2nd Interview - Had to come in prepared by researching 10 leads: Name, Position and Company + prepare a sales pitch for the conference I received during the 1st interview. Don't worry if you screw-up, they will probably hire you any ways.
It seems they hire anyone and the interview is more of them selling the company to you, rather than you selling yourself to them.

Interviewed Mar 2012 in Chicago, IL (took 1+ week)
I found the company while applying for jobs on Linked In. I had applied and interviewed with other companies for "account executive" positions and most turned out to be low paying, commission only jobs, so I was a bit wary. The description did say "salary and commission" so, I thought this company would be different. In the end, I was wrong.
I heard back from the recruiter about 2 or 3 days after I had posted my resume and we did a phone interview that lasted about 20 minutes. After our conversation, he asked me to participate in a second phone interview to be done 2 days later. The second phone interview was a little more involved. He asked questions like: "What is your ideal salary?" and "How are you with rejection?" After I answered his questions he invited me to do a face-to-face interview.
About 3 days later, I went to their office and met with one of their sales managers. He was a nice guy and was very welcoming. He asked me general sales questions and told me a little bit about the company and the goals for sales executives. While you may only have to get 3 sales a week, you have to keep in mind you are selling tickets to upper executive conferences (1 ticket runs about $3,000). He also threw in a few left field questions such as: "tell me a joke or funny story" and "what is 48+23+12?" They ask you these to find out how quick you are on your feet.
After the interview, he told me they would be in touch in the next couple of days if I got the job. Even though they never called, I would not have accepted because of the low base pay and high focus on a very difficult commission.

Interviewed Aug 2010 in Chicago, IL (took 3 days)
After doing a phone interview, I was asked to come in. Then, I interviewed with two people. It went well. After working there I noticed that they used their sales pitch format on me to sell the job to me. For example, they created urgency by telling me there were two positions. In reality, I was in a training group of around 15 people.

Interviewed Dec 2011 in Chicago, IL (took 4 days)
Phone interview which lasted about 20min. Seeing skills and ambitions. One on one interview 2 days later. They were at the end of their interview process for the job posting, which is why it moved so quickly. One on one interview was to see if I knew about their company, my skill set and what my motivation was. Throughout the process they seemed to favor someone that is aggressive and want to make money. I declined a second round interview, because the pay was too low. My task for the second round was to create a sales pitch.

Interviewed Mar 2010 in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) (took 1+ week)
I attended 3 interviews, with 3 different groups of people.
1. The Conference Director (CD) - She given me an assignment to complete within 3 days.
2. The CD and the Conference Manager - Presentation of the assignment
3. Deliver another same presentation to the Regional Director
Basically I applied for a entry-level position, but they liked my ideas and presentation. Therefore, they moved to me a more senior level division and more duties and responsibilities.

Interviewed May 2011 in London, England (United Kingdom) (took a day)
Initial fit phone call. Then at their office: 1:1 with team leader, exercise where you have to pretend to be selling on the phone (felt a bit weird but that is what you would be doing all day as work), and another interview with other 2 employees. Behavioural and fit questions, nothing complicated.

Reason for Declining
The job really is to spend all day trying to sell conferences on the phone, with no other contact with clients. Really not for me. People interviewing were very 'monocord', the kind of people who like to put a suit on and pretend they are doing an high-level corporate job but can't really open their mind to anything else than their actual job which is... selling things on the phone as hard as possible!

Interviewed Feb 2012 in London, England (United Kingdom) (took 3 days)
The manager called me for an interview the same week I applied. I had two interviews the same day and they explained to me the position.
Salary is not negociable (650£ basis + OTE up to 30K/year) and if you really like to spend your whole day calling ppl (up to 80calls/day) go for it...
You have opportunities to grow rapidly but as long as you stay in sales, you will be selling till being a Director (minimum)

Interviewed Nov 2011 in Chicago, IL (took 2 weeks)
I applied for the job. Got a call the next day, then went in 2 days later for a face to face interview. Then got called back the next day for feedback from both me and the interviewer and then set up a 2nd interview for the next week. For the 2nd interview had to write out a sales pitch for an event and also find 10 companies and 10 leads and explain why I chose them. Was then contacted the next day with a job offer and asked to start that week.
