Interviewed Mar 2012 in Chicago, IL (took 1+ week)
I found the company while applying for jobs on Linked In. I had applied and interviewed with other companies for "account executive" positions and most turned out to be low paying, commission only jobs, so I was a bit wary. The description did say "salary and commission" so, I thought this company would be different. In the end, I was wrong.
I heard back from the recruiter about 2 or 3 days after I had posted my resume and we did a phone interview that lasted about 20 minutes. After our conversation, he asked me to participate in a second phone interview to be done 2 days later. The second phone interview was a little more involved. He asked questions like: "What is your ideal salary?" and "How are you with rejection?" After I answered his questions he invited me to do a face-to-face interview.
About 3 days later, I went to their office and met with one of their sales managers. He was a nice guy and was very welcoming. He asked me general sales questions and told me a little bit about the company and the goals for sales executives. While you may only have to get 3 sales a week, you have to keep in mind you are selling tickets to upper executive conferences (1 ticket runs about $3,000). He also threw in a few left field questions such as: "tell me a joke or funny story" and "what is 48+23+12?" They ask you these to find out how quick you are on your feet.
After the interview, he told me they would be in touch in the next couple of days if I got the job. Even though they never called, I would not have accepted because of the low base pay and high focus on a very difficult commission.

Interviewed Aug 2010 in Chicago, IL (took 3 days)
After doing a phone interview, I was asked to come in. Then, I interviewed with two people. It went well. After working there I noticed that they used their sales pitch format on me to sell the job to me. For example, they created urgency by telling me there were two positions. In reality, I was in a training group of around 15 people.

Interviewed May 2011 in London, England (United Kingdom) (took a day)
Initial fit phone call. Then at their office: 1:1 with team leader, exercise where you have to pretend to be selling on the phone (felt a bit weird but that is what you would be doing all day as work), and another interview with other 2 employees. Behavioural and fit questions, nothing complicated.

Reason for Declining
The job really is to spend all day trying to sell conferences on the phone, with no other contact with clients. Really not for me. People interviewing were very 'monocord', the kind of people who like to put a suit on and pretend they are doing an high-level corporate job but can't really open their mind to anything else than their actual job which is... selling things on the phone as hard as possible!

Interviewed May 2010 (took 1 week)
I initially got a phone call from one of the Assistant Managers. He asked me questions on why I believe I can succeed in an environment that involves sales. The call lasted about 10-15 minutes.
Afterwards I got called in for an in-person interview about 2 days with the Manager. The interview lasted about an hour. I filled out an application and he asked me about myself, asked me to tell a funny story, and what makes a salesperson succeed?
On the day I was interviewed, someone happened to get a deal so he showed me the types of deals that are generated through the company.
About 3 days later, I had another interview with two assistant managers and they asked me questions about my resume, hypothetical situations, and about my interests. I got hired 2 days later through a phone call.

Interviewed Jan 2008 in London, England (United Kingdom) (took 5 days)
Began with a telephone interview from the assistant manager which consisted of basic questions on experience, why I wanted to get into sales and knowledge of company.
Then met for a one on one interview with same person in London HQ. Consisted of basic, generic, sales questions and an introduction to the salary and role. The role was not properly explained as is always the case and hyped up to be more than what it is.
Two days later had a second interview with director of specific department. Consisted of same generic questions and introduction to the company.
Not one of the most testing interviews by any stretch of the imagination.
