Interview Details – The hiring process consisted of an online application, phone screening, in person interview and a short sales call observation. Your interview will be with either one or two sales managers, and will be about an hour. They look for competitive and hard working folks who work well with others, and they do a pretty good job of weeding out those who don't.

Very Easy Interview
I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Market Leader in January 2011.
Interview Details – It seemed more like a sales pitch about the company more than anything. There was a need for some indepth information about the company and where it was headed, but I think it went overboard a bit. After over an hour, I walked out thinking, wow, that was the weirdest interview I have ever been to...
Interview Question – Tell me why I should hire you for this position? View Answer
I applied online and the process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at Market Leader in January 2010.
Interview Details – I interviewed when this company first opened its Yakima office in 2006. At first they sent me a letter of rejection after my interview, then called me to come for a second interview a month later. Then I was hired. The second interview also included some skills tests. They asked all of the typical sales job questions.

Negotiation Details – No negotiation.
I applied online and the process took 2 days - interviewed at Market Leader in April 2012.
Interview Details –
First was a 1:1 interview with the sales manager. The questions jumped around a lot, after a while I could tell he was making things up as he went. He was testing my patience and motivation, not necessarily caring about my answers to questions. At times he was intimidating, but I understand why he was. It's a extremely tough job basically cold calling real estate agents. The compensation was very luring, (if what he said was accurate), $40,000 base + strong commission system. Avg. account executive makes $71k/year. Top 30% over $90k.
Second day I did a job shadow. Listened in on a top sellers phone calls. After an hour of that then I had a group interview with both sales managers. They asked a lot of questions what I thought about the sales calls and if I thought I could do it.
Interview Question – What is the least appealing part of this job? Answer Question
Reason for Declining – I didn't like the environment. The manager reminded me of a mean gym teacher. There was an obvious tension in the room to sell. I couldn't deal with that while being in a cubicle for 8 hours a day. If you are good at phone sales, super competitive, and want to make some $$$ this is the job for you.
