Interviewed Mar 2009 (took a day)
Marriott lost all interst in me when they found out that I had changed jobs often. Because they are Mormon, they are very interested in people who have performed some sort of social service. That left me oot. Big deal.

Interviewed Apr 2008 (took a day)
Very standard, formulaic interview done from workbook. I was asked to summarize the past work experiences listed on the application, and give examples of how I handled different situations at those jobs. I was asked a few technical questions like how to cook pasta and the proper cooking/storage temperatures for food. The only real stumbling block is the personality test (conducted online with the application)--contains lots of vague and seemingly irrelevant questions, but Marriott takes it very seriously and it can invalidate your application, so think carefully about your answers.
