Raipur, Chhattisgarh (India)

I applied through college or university and the process took a day - interviewed at Maruti Suzuki in November 2013.

Interview Details – Campus Recruitment - NIT Raipur. An online aptitude and technical test, followed by a psychometric test. After short listing, a presentation round (eliminating) and then the interview. The ppt round and interview lasted about 5-6 hours. Generally the interview is held after 1-2 months of online test.

Interview Question – Most of the questions were easy. They introduced a "presentation round" (eliminating) for the first time where we had to initially select our field which we gonna opt.
General mechanical questions. not much from thermodynamics. More stress on strength of materials.

I applied through college or university - interviewed at Maruti Suzuki in December 2013.

Interview Details – It was a campus placement process. They intimated for hiring in july and online paper happened in august. They were later skeptical to hire or not and finally came for taking interviews in dec. The process also included a presentation round which was also eliminative. It was a large interview panel as the process was taken for many streams. HR was friendly but obviously not during the interview.
