several 1st level managers gave 1:1 interview. most the technical questions are simple and straight forward. they did make effort to explain what they would do. there are total 4-5 people in intervew and took 1 day. overrall I think they respect candidates.

Interviewed Aug 2010 in Santa Clara, CA (took a day)
Had one phone interview and was called for an on-site interview after that. There were seven 1:1 interviews that day. Most of the interviews were basic communication/networking/software and resume based. The people who took my interview were very nice and it was a good experience for me - my first on-site interview. Its been over a month now and haven't heard back. Tried contacting HR (via email and phone) and was told they''l get back after asking the main recruiter for the group and again haven't heard back since then. Communication with HR has been quite bad. The least they could do is inform me about the status, even if it is a reject.

Interviewed Sep 2010 (took a day)
I got call from recruiter about my application for the WiFi software engineer position. The phone interview was scheduled for the following week. There were two engineers that I talked to. They asked me questions mostly from my resume and some other on computer networks (TCP/IP, 802.11 standards, Ethernet frame header fields, how ping works and how to debug if it does not) and some on embedded software specifically in C. (Little-endien vs Big endien, how to determine which).

Interviewed Jun 2010 (took 1 week)
Two people runned the interview. First the presented the company and introduced themselves. A continuation I introduced myself talking about my education and work experience. They asked question about why I want to work on this position since my previous job was in a different field.
After they made a big difficult question on programming using bits and memory allocation. It was not easy and with their help I could finish the problem. The most difficult part is to be aware of all the exception cases or NULL cases when you are on pressure.

Interviewed Sep 2010 in Santa Clara, CA (took 1+ week)
Had a phone call with manager and later interviewed for multiple positions....
1:1 and group/panel interview was all about the resume and small design questions and comp arch questions.
They were looking for answers but never looked at the approach.....that was really bad....and I was not comfortable with interviewers except for couple of people

Interviewed Jan 2010 (took a day)
Interviewed with 8 people which took all day. Most asked about background experience and a project that stood out. Technical questions about circuit engineering, and layout were also asked. What would you do to solve this" type questions.
The people were nice, but the work culture would be to work long hours, and most weekends.
