Interviewed Nov 2011 (took 3 days)
I was contacted by a recruiter for a position at MassMutual in Springfield. The interviews went very well and I was led to believe that an offer would be made. At the last minute, they decided to hire from within and this has been a problem with several clients. It seems that most companies are hiring from within (even if the candidate is less qualified), so that they won't have to pay any recruiters. Don't waste your time.
Other Details
I got the interview through a Recruiter and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview and a Group/Panel Interview.

Interviewed Oct 2011 (took a day)
Interview consisted of four 1 on 1 interviews with actuaries and a lunch with two students in the program. Employees were very friendly and were down to earth people. The student program also seemed to be well organized. Questions on the interview were pretty standard and nothing too technical was asked.

Reason for Declining
Mainly because of location in Springfield, MA. If the program had been closer to where I lived, I might have taken it.

Interviewed Dec 2011 (took 3 weeks)
Originally i was contacted by a recruiter which scheduled me to do an interview.
- The first interview was pretty basic, explaining how the position worked, following up with some basic interview questions. I was told to complete a personality test online before continuing on to the next interview.
- The Second interview consisted of more questions. These questions were mainly geared towards the understanding of the position and the type of person you are. Seeking that you are a rational, logical, motivated, and someone who can take rejection.
Overall I found everyone to be very nice and professional. The atmosphere of the office made me feel very high up and prestige.

Had a phone interview. Questons they asked were why sales and why mass mutual. They also ask you to rank yourself from 1-10 in competitiveness. Seems like they use the same questions for all the interviews because allthe questions they asked, I've already seen on glassdoor. I think not having sales experience probably hurt me the most

Interviewed Jun 2011 (took a day)
Got the interview after visiting the rep from the company during the career fair in college. At the first, it sounded really exciting, They told us that we could make a great fortune out of this. So i interviewed. The interview process was pretty standard just like any other interviews. They tell you what you need to do to become qualified in the company.

The interview is very tedious because this is a Sales position. The company is seeking qualified individuals who are sales people with very specific responsibilities.

I needed to fill in a set of attitude questions, and also translate 2 paragraphs, one from chinese to english and the other one is from english to chinese
then , they asked me to introduce myself, and ask some detail about my extra curricular activities.
Also, they have asked why did I choose maths in the university and why do I want to be an actuary.

Interviewed May 2011 in Enfield, CT (took a day)
The interview consisted of four 1:1 interviews, all with actuaries from different departments. After the first two interviews, I had lunch with two Actuarial Students who recently became FSA's. The interviews on the whole were straight forward; one of the interviewers didn't even really ask me standard questions, we just ended up in a discussion about one of my volunteer experiences. The first 1:1 interview was 45 minutes, the other three were 30 minutes. A few business days later, someone from HR called me and told me that MassMutual would not pursue my application.
