Interviewed Oct 2011 in Saint Louis, MO (took 3 weeks)
I applied with Mastercard through a recruiter, and Mastercard scheduled the interview within 2 weeks. I drove to their O'Fallon campus and interviewed at 8am. I met with a team lead who would be my boss. The interview was not very technical. He mostly questioned me about my approaches to project management and wanted to know about my previous experience. I could tell he was technical in the past, but had left technical roles for management.
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
Even though I gave the recruiter a minimum salary, Mastercard offered much lower than my minimum (33% less). I attribute this not to Mastercard's difficult negotiation tactics, but to the recruiter's ineptitude and/or lack of ethics.

I got the interview through a Recruiter and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview.

Interviewed Nov 2011 in Saint Louis, MO (took a day)
The initial meeting was over the phone with the HR Manager. The next meeting was a panel style interview. Both interviews were standard; there weren't wany surprises in either interview. The questions were mainly about my career experiences. I thought both interviews went well and I was surprised that I did not recieve an offer. Oh well.

Interviewed Jun 2011 (took 3+ weeks)
There was an excessive amount of time that transpired from the on-line application and the initial contact with an actual HR representative. This was also true for the second interview.

Interviewed Mar 2010 (took a day)
Overall the interview process went very well, I thought. First was an interview with HR and then the group/panel interview with the department manager and colleagues for the position. The people were friendly and were very cordial. After the process was over, I never heard another word from the company. Not from HR, not from the hiring manager....no one. If it weren't from someone on the inside, I would have never known that the position was filled. To me, not to even receive a letter is very unprofessional. From multiple people that I know that work there, the place is more about who you know as opposed to your qualifications. Quite honestly, I'm glad I was never hired on after this obviously lack of detail.

Interviewed Aug 2011 (took 2 weeks)
I met with 8 people on 2 days and while many of the individuals were very helpful, excited about working at MasterCard and provided a good conversation / interview, a few individuals did not. Halfway through my interview on day 2, one of my interviewers started to pick his nose and flick findings on the floor, all while asking me questions. That's not to say I wouldn't have accepted the job if I had been hired but it definitely appalled me that this would go on in an office setting in Metro NY let alone during an interview.

Interviewed Dec 2009 (took 3 weeks)
Interview Process was straight forward. At the time, I was currently contracting at MC so the interview process was informal.
It consisted of (2) parts: HR interview and team interview. HR questions were basic (example: where do you see yourself in 5 years). The team interview was more of a chat since I has been contracting there and had done the for two years.

Interviewed Mar 2011 (took 3 weeks)
This position was set up through a recruiter. Phone interview went about 1 hour (which is unusal). Only interviewed with hiring manager for phone interview and 1:1. There are many very talented working there. Office is a very relaxed atmosphere. Normally start date is 2 weeks after accepting offer. I was asked to start right away which I was happy to accomodate, however that meant no PC, no access to files, folders and tools. Could not really be productive.

Nothing. Be careful in understanding the hiring manager's experience level. When the hiring manager is new to the position they don't really know how to communicate what they are really expecting.
