Interview Details – Met recruiters at career fair. On campus interview, two weeks later was invited for an in person interview. The on campus interview was about 45 minutes and the interview in Chicago took about 2.5 hours. Prior to the on site interview, I took a personality test. When arriving at Mattersight after checking in, a recruiter will greet you and you'll take the Wonderlic test. I then met with four different people. One focused on my resume, another on behavioral questions, another on different scenarios, and the last on more logic/critical thinking problems.

Interview Details –
Applied after seeing a listing on my university's career website. Within a week was contacted by a recruiter to schedule a basic phone interview going over my resume and the company. A few days later, I was contacted about scheduling another phone interview with a current analyst, which was behavioral and included logic/brain teaser questions. After this interview, I was contacted about doing an on-site interview in Chicago. As stated, and they do inform you of this clearly, travel expense are not reimbursed.
The office is very modern, chic, and in a fantastic location. Everyone I met during my interviews, from the lead recruiter to principals and analysts, were very nice and easy to connect with. Prior to the interviews I had to complete a personality test at home, and the on-site process began with a 12 minute wonderlic test (move fast) and 4 30-45 minute 1:1 interviews. The interviews were all behavioral, some included logic/brainteasers, and there was plenty of time for questions. I received positive feedback following my visit and a formal offer roughly a week and a half later.
Main advice: Practice logic and brainteasers with a book or on-line to get your brain in shape. Some don't have an answer (more about thought process), and some do. Just make sure you can walk through it like a case interview and show your reasoning. Other than that, I felt like cultural fit is huge, so be yourself, be confident, and personable, don't be afraid to laugh a little, and of course, be professional.

No Offer – Interviewed in Chicago, IL Mar 2012 – Reviewed May 1, 2012
Interview Details – I had a one on one campus interview with a recruiter form Mattersight after I met her at a career fair. After about a week I was asked to come out to Chicago for a final round interview. I completed a personality test online beforehand, the recruiters were able to answer any questions I had via email. The day of the interview on location I met with four different Mattersight employees of different departments. Each of the interviewers had incredibly different personalities. Some were friendly and easy to connect with while others made me seem like a bit of an inconvenience as they has odd other work to do. After being there for about 3 hours I was told they would be able to give me an answer in about a week

Interview Details – Met them at my school's career fair. Hit it off really well with the recruiters and alumni analysts. Seems to be a very young group of people at Mattersight. Seem to also be expanding very fast - because the interviewer emphasized that they have been increasing their intake size and the number of batches they are taking in. Unfortunately they do not take in international students hence I wasn't able to continue my future rounds of interviewing with them.
