Interviewed Mar 2012 in Chicago, IL (took 4+ weeks)
I had a one on one campus interview with a recruiter form Mattersight after I met her at a career fair. After about a week I was asked to come out to Chicago for a final round interview. I completed a personality test online beforehand, the recruiters were able to answer any questions I had via email. The day of the interview on location I met with four different Mattersight employees of different departments. Each of the interviewers had incredibly different personalities. Some were friendly and easy to connect with while others made me seem like a bit of an inconvenience as they has odd other work to do. After being there for about 3 hours I was told they would be able to give me an answer in about a week

Interviewed Feb 2012 in Chicago, IL (took 2 weeks)
First had an interview the day after meeting a recruiter at a career fair. Asked about resume and then a couple of logic questions. For second round, went to Chicago. Four hour interview consisted of an IQ test and 4, 45 minute interviews with four different people. Same style as first.

Interviewed Jan 2012 (took 4+ weeks)
This is an interesting company in a brand new field. As a young company, their recruiting process was really odd. I had two phone interviews. One was with an HR person; the other with someone that was formerly in the role.
Then they brought me to Chicago for a final round interview. This consisted of a Wonderlic test and four one-on-one interviews. One interviewer was painfully awkward and another was not personable at all.
After the interview, the HR person was extremely slow at getting back to me despite knowing that I had another offer on the table. I had to call her a couple of times to try to get an answer. The worst part of the entire process was they did not pay for travel expenses to and from Chicago. For a company that seemingly prides itself on getting top talent from top universities, it seemed odd to not pay a relatively small amount for travel.

Interviewed Dec 2011 in Chicago, IL (took 2 days)
This process consisted of 2 phone interviews. The first one was mostly behavioral. The person interviewing me just asked pretty standard questions about my resume and how it applies to the job. The second interview was more of the same with a few situational and logic questions.

Interviewed Aug 2011 in Chicago, IL (took a day)
Met them at my school's career fair. Hit it off really well with the recruiters and alumni analysts. Seems to be a very young group of people at Mattersight. Seem to also be expanding very fast - because the interviewer emphasized that they have been increasing their intake size and the number of batches they are taking in. Unfortunately they do not take in international students hence I wasn't able to continue my future rounds of interviewing with them.

Interviewed Feb 2011 in Chicago, IL (took 4 weeks)
Everyone I have interviewed with thus far has been very personable. Initial phone interview consisted of many questions relating to my resume, education, and leadership experiences. Second and third phone interview focused on background and logic questions as well. Nothing you need a calculator for, but be prepared to share your thought process!
