Interviewed Dec 2011 in Beaverton, OR (took 2 months)
First had an on-campus interview with the hiring manager and then invited to an on-site interview. The on-site interview consisted of 4-5 1:1 interviews and a presentation. Although the position was process engineer, they did ask a lot of semiconductors device questions

Interviewed Aug 2010 in Beaverton, OR (took a day)
Initial contact was an email to set up a phone screen. Phone screen itself was highly technical and lasted 1.5 hours(!). Hardest phone screen I've ever been through. Must have done OK, because a week later they invited me for an on-site interview. On-site interview was also purely technical - no "touchy-feely" behavioral interviewing questions from Maxim! (Some questions about leading teams was as touchy-feely as it got.) On-site interview lasted ~8 hours, however there were 10-15 minute gaps between some interviewers. Guess they got busy or were tied up with something. The lunch break was also effectively an interview, as one of the two people who took me to lunch asked interview questions while we were eating. Interview format was basically 1-on-1 with seven different people. One odd thing was that one 1-on-1 session was over the phone with a manager at a different site.

Interviewed Mar 2010 in Hillsboro, OR (took a day)
Initially got a phone call, wanting to set up an interview. Had it the next day. 1 HR lady, 1 Sr analyst. Asked about my background in software testing and testing documentation. Pretty much just went through my resume one job at a time.
pretty unorganized. Didn't have my resume after I sent it. Interview started late. Didn't know when I was graduating.
Had to drive 4 hours total for nothing.
