Interviewed Feb 2010 (took a day)
The interview process was fairly straightforward. It was conducted 1:1 by the store manager and included very simple questions. Before I had the interview I had received a phone call with details of when the interview would take place a few days after I had submitted my resume. When I arrived at the interview I was greeted by the store manager and promptly began the interview. It consisted of short questions regarding previous experience, leisure activities, and my personal thoughts of the company along with how I would handle certain situations I would be faced with on the job.

Interview was in person with the district manager. Asked if I had prior Manager training, where I worked, what I did? Why I wanted to work there? How I deal with conflicts between employees? What are my availablity?
No need to stress over interview, very relaxed and easy going

Interviewed Jan 2012 in Surrey, BC (Canada) (took 2 weeks)
It was a good interview, for me. However, I didn't like the fact that one of the managers whom interviewed me, asked if I can work over night. I mean, I wrote my availability (early mornings to afternoons) for a reason, so why ask if I can work over night? Just saying...

Interviewed Nov 2010 in Kingston, ON (Canada) (took 1 week)
The web application forms seemed a bit ridiculous overall they were questions that had obvious correct answers and would be no help to the employer as most of the applicants would possibly not even take the time to look at each question and answer honestly. The 1:1 interview is a better way to judge a person as an employee but my experience is that the management are forced to interview so many people a month so most don't get hired because the crew at my store had a limit and the turnover was excellent at least 80% of the employees have been there 1.5-2 years, and considering the turnover at other stores ours had the most dedicated crew in my opinion

they good at explaining the duties of the job to do and were able to give detailed information on what my performance would be rated on. Found the interviewer a friendly nice easy going person who enjoy meeting people and wanted to find if I was a nice person too as well as a good worker.

Interviewed Oct 2011 (took 2 weeks)
I applied in an agency here in the Philippines , saw the ads on the newspaper. They required 100 crews for Mcdonalds Canada. There are a lot of people who applied. But not all got the chance to take the english exam because the initial interview was tough. They wont accept if u dont have experienced in a fastfood even if you work in a restaurant. And the experienced should be at least 2 years. Luckily i passed the initial then did the exam. The passing score was 30pts out of 50 and i got 44!. After the exam i was set to another interview i was able to passed again then after 2 days i had an interview with Canadian HR. The interview was for me difficult if u didnt study before going to the exam. since i was workin in a fastfood 3 years ago so i forgot some fastfood operation standards. But i did study before facing the Canadian HR. So i passed with flying colors besides i'm naturally a friendly and outgoing person so it shows to the interview. I even cracked a joke to break the ice. It was a wonderful and a nerve wracking moment.

the manager called me in the morning and invited me for an interview in the afternoon. He just asked me basic questions. For instance, what's your english level, why do you think you can handle the job. are you willing to be a full time employee, what does customer satisfaction mean

Interviewed Jun 2011 (took a day)
The McDonalds was hiring every Wednesday so I went on ..Wednesday. Went there and they gave me an assessment and a sheet that listed my available hours. Assessment was about my personality and situations. Filled those out. Waited ten minutes. Interview time. Interviewer asked two questions. Easy stuff since I was prepared. Interviewer asked of my availability, explained how shifts worked, asked for references, etc. I was told that they'd email me on that Friday or the next Friday. I also gave them my resume. They also maximize your work hours as much as possible. I was told I might have to work as early as eight and end as late as eleven sometimes.

Interviewed Nov 2009 (took a day)
There were 2 people that interviewed me. The first person asked me some generic questions, like how did I find out about the position and when I was available to work. After the first person left I waited awhile for the second person to come. The second person took me to their office and asked me more difficult questions.
