Interview Details – I applied 2 weeks before the restaurant opened, and did not receive a call back. I continued to call every morning asking what was the status of my application. After a few days of calling I received a call back for an interview. If you get an interview, you automatically have the job. During The interview they basically ask about your flexibility and then offer you the position. Please do not come overly dressed to the interview because its McDonald's and they honestly don't care. At the McDonald's I was hired at, piercings were not allowed. I eventually got tired of changing my nose ring to a clear one that I let it close.

The next day I got a call to come in for an interview. I talked to the manager on duty, and she asked some very basic questions, went over the pay, and set up the next meeting to get the uniform.

Interview Details – I walked in the restaurant and I had to wait for about forty minutes because there were about 20 other people in line for interviews. We each sat at a table waiting for the boss to approach us as we were waiting. One of the employees went around as well and began to talk to all of us together. She then asked all of us if we had ever worked at a McDonalds before to which we all replied no. Then she pointed me out and said that I wouldn't make it because I had a "pretty face" and looked as though I couldn't do the job. I smiled and replied that I was a hardworker and that I thought that I was capable of doing the job. I'm not sure if this happened as a "test" during the interviews but it wasn't a great start to the interview.
