I applied online and the process took a day - interviewed at McDonald's.

Interview Details – I interviewed and started as a crew member. The store manager did my interview. He didn't seem to care much. Just asked basic interview questions. This was my first job so I didn't have any experience but they hired me anyway

I applied through other source and the process took 3+ weeks - interviewed at McDonald's in March 2012.

Interview Details – After applying online, you'll most likely be contacted over the phone by their hiring manager, asking you to set up an interview, if you have any people skills what-so-ever, you'll be asked to attend the group interview, this interview will last 10-30 minutes. At this point, you will have already been given the job. After your paperwork is filled out and tax forms are in order, you'll be contacted by the GM of the store you applied to work for. You'll pick up your crew uniform and be put onto the schedule.

Interview Question – Very little questions at all. Atleast for crew member employment, i cannot comment on the hiring process of someone going straight to management.   Answer Question

Negotiation Details – No negotiation was to be had, nor is it worth haggling over a minimum wage job.
