I was unable to access the typing test from home because of an error with the link they sent me. But, when I tried to take it at their location, I had to use a small laptop that I was unfamiliar with. It was very uncomfortable and difficult to get used to the new keyboard setup.

I applied 2 weeks before the restaurant opened, and did not receive a call back. I continued to call every morning asking what was the status of my application. After a few days of calling I received a call back for an interview. If you get an interview, you automatically have the job. During The interview they basically ask about your flexibility and then offer you the position. Please do not come overly dressed to the interview because its McDonald's and they honestly don't care. At the McDonald's I was hired at, piercings were not allowed. I eventually got tired of changing my nose ring to a clear one that I let it close.

I did not negotiate. They offered me minimum wage and I took it, especially because I had no experience prior to this job.

I had a criminal record so they would not hire me
Had to manly fill out a ton of paper work
talked a little about higshcool diplomia, said I would be fine without one
I had some Burger King experiance they liked on the girll, the fries, the drive thru, mopping , cleaing
BUt again i didnt get the job due to being a felon, they ave some program for felons they said, Im looking into it

The process for applying and hearing back in regards to an internship at McDonald's is long; you almost think they forgot about you. I applied and was sent an email asking some basic behavior questions: what are your skills/weakness etc. After that I was called in for an onsite interview. I interviewed with 3 potential managers, which was nice because I got specifics on what expectations each manager had for me. Overall the questions were all basic behavioral questions and some about my resume.

Pretty general questions - why would you want to work there, why did you apply. I was interviewed by two people, the general manager and the store manager. They were both really nice about the whole process, but previous job experience was pretty high on their list. I did not get the job, most likely because of this.

I applied to McDonald's online. About 2 weeks later, I got a call from the restaurant manager. I came in the next day and was interviewed with about 3 other potential candidates. About a day later, I got a call from the manager telling me that I was hired and when and where to be for orientation.

In being interviewed by this company, I was not expecting anything to be substantially difficult. A minimum wage job to pay some bills over the summer. They were very unprofessional and did not seem very pleased with their work place. Many seemed to be in a down or depressed mood, waiting for the day to be over. I am over qualified for this position by far, but still have heard nothing back from them.

You begin by submitting an online application where you include personal information, a small paragraph about yourself and an option to attach a resume at the end. After following up with 2 phone calls the first week, by the second I was asked to come in for a review. I sat down with the manager and he asked me general questions about myself and then asked what my skills are and why I thought the position I applied for(grill cook) was right for me. After that he told me I got the job.
The first day of "work" is training for 3 hours, where wages, schedule, and work outfit is discussed.
