I applied through a recruiter and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at MedImmune in December 2013.
Interview Details – I was contacted for an interview after submitting my resume, during first rounds I met with two different people, I was then called back from second rounds, and I met with five additional people. I received an email requesting references, I then received a call with a verbal job offer, and I received the physical offer via email. After that, I returned the offer, I received information on where to go have drug screening done, and once that cleared I began employment.
Interview Question – If offered the position, what would be your top three priorities? Answer Question
Negotiation Details – I did not negotiate, they knew what I was looking for as a salary requirement, and they met those needs.
I applied through a recruiter and the process took a day - interviewed at MedImmune in October 2013.
Interview Details – Phone call for interview scheduling and email of interview schedule. Arrived at building and waited in front lobby for escort. Escorted to interview room by supervisor. Sat with supervisor, then technicians, then manager and followed by two lead technicians. Asked about experience, schooling, frowning, equipment, and hours preferences. Interview lasted for 30 minute blocks with a brief tour of the lab and lunch. After interview I received a phone call with an offer and then an offer letter emailed. Offer was verbally accepted and after a drug test, lift test, and physical, work started 2 weeks later.
Interview Question – What was a situation where you had a problem and how was it remedied? Answer Question
Negotiation Details – I did not negotiate
I applied online and interviewed at MedImmune.
Interview Details – I can't believe I wasted time doing a phone interview with this firm. I'm glad it was just a phone interview and nothing more. I was sent an auto email and given different time slots to pick from which I think was very efficient. I then had an interview on the chosen day and time. Strange enough the recruiter seemed like someone who was outsourced by Medimmune because they didn't seem to have their stuff together. His questions were pretty generic, he couldn't answer most of my own questions about the job itself, and shockingly he said he did not have my resume in front of him because of the way the recruiting website is built or something (let's just say he was unprepared and his reason absolutely did not make sense for something that is recruiting 101 basic- to have the resume). The next day I was sent an auto email to fill out the application with a lot of personal information. Thank goodness it did not ask for SSN or DOB. It did however, ask for references and salaries at where you worked. Two weeks passed by and then I got another auto email saying they will not move forward with my application. What??? Why even ask me to fill out an application if you plan on not moving forward? I think this place is a joke and probably couldn't afford my salary requirements or maybe they are just trying to figure out how low they are in the job market when it comes to salaries. I already told the recruiter my expectations so I don't really know why I wasn't asked to come in for an interview. I would have been fine if they didn't ask me to fill anything and stop at that. I know the position wasn't cancelled because it was still active when I checked. I had applied to this company over 10 years ago when I was moving to the area. I should've known better because back then they were really cheap but at least they were upfront about it during the phone interview and didn't waste my time to come in for a physical interview. This time, they went so far as to ask for my personal information (salaries of where I worked, references, names of supervisors, etc). Never apply again!
Interview Question – No difficult questions. Answer Question
I applied online and the process took 3+ weeks - interviewed at MedImmune.
Interview Details –
Applied for a position and was contacted for a phone screen in less than a week. General questions about your résumé, background, work experience, salary requirements, accomplishments and relevant experience to the position. There were a few behavioral based questions and a question asking to define being Ethical and examples of how you execute it. Very comfortable interview with HR rep, was approachable and not intimidating.
After a successful phone screen and completing a post phone screen application almost two weeks later I received an email of declining my candidacy in moving forward.

Interviewed at MedImmune
Interview Details – I had a total of 3 interviews for this job at MedImmune; one phone interview with their contracted hiring firm, one phone interview with the hiring manager, and one on-site interview. It was very helpful to speak with the hiring manager, because as you might expect, what they want is a little different than what the job advertisement detailed. Visting on-site made a big impression too, as I got first-hand experience on how they run their organization
Interview Question – The most difficult question was from the hiring firm! She asked, "All of our candidates say they have integrity, but we really want to know if you have it. When was a time your integrity was compromised and what did you do to handle it?" Answer Question
