Applied online. Was asked to pick a date and time for a phone interview from an online system which is very convenient. Auto responses were very prompt. It seemed like a third party was conducting the phone interview. Impersonal and disinterested. Sounded almost mechanical. Would not share any information nor answer any questions.

Interview involved talking to the company's contract HR service. Took about 30 mins. I was very well qualified for the position but got the feeling that they were looking for a low salary person.

It went smoothly. The company thought I was very qualified for the position and made an offer within one week. Great company to worked with.
Negotiation Details
This would be the only chance you got to ask for a higher salary than they offered. Do not wasted it.

Applied online and was contacted to schedule a phone interview within 2 days of applying. One week later was interviewed by someone from HR. Standard interview questions: tell me about yourself? what was the most difficult situation and how did handle it? what are your salary expections? When can you start?
The impression that I had was that it was standard questions without no connection with my scientific background or the job description.

I had an on site 1 day interview. I talked with ~10 scientists at all levels up to VP. I gave a seminar to ~20 people.
