Interviewed Oct 2011 (took 2 weeks)
After applying online, a recruiter from the company reached out to have a phone interview with me. During the interview I was mostly asked to talk about my resume, why I was interested in advertising, and a few critical thinking questions. From there I was chosen to come in to the office for on-site interviews.
My first impression of the office was great! I loved the layout as well as the laid back and casual environment where people seemed to work hard but have fun as well. I interviewed with three different people, each at different levels in the organization and with a different perspective to offer. I was able to get all of my questions answered from insight about the day to day of the job as well as industry and company specific questions.
I was extended an offer a few days later which I ended up accepting. I have been with the company for 6 months now and have loved my experience here so far. MediaMind is a young and dynamically changing/growing company so it will keep you on your toes but if you like a challenging and exciting environment, then this is the place for you.

Interviewed Aug 2011 in New York, NY (took 2 weeks)
I applied for the position by emailing the company's internal recruiter after viewing the job posted to the mailing list of a local professional organization. The recruiter called a few minutes later and scheduled a phone interview for later that same day. The initial interview included some general questions about my experience and the recruiter addressed a few questions I had about the position. Our conversation left me with a good impression of both the company and position. I had a very thorough second phone interview with the position's supervisor a few days later. I was invited to the office a few days later for a 1:1 interview with the recruiter and another interview with two engineers from the team. They asked several questions, answered a few of mine, and left a good impression. Next I completed a quick skills test and technical exercise. And, in a final phone interview I reviewed the results of the skills test with the same engineers. Overall, the process was long and a bit hectic. But, I respected everyone's dedication to finding a good fit for the position. I also appreciate how the recruiter kept me informed every step along the way.

Interviewed Mar 2012 in New York, NY (took 2+ weeks)
Invitation to interview came pretty quickly -- very soon after I had posted my resume. The entire process took three weeks (four sets of interviews -- two by phone, two live), but that was mostly due to my constraints with my job at the time which kept my calendar full. I'll have to say that Mediamind was very accommodating about my schedule.
Interview consisted of a phone screen, and three full length interviews consisting of Case Studies and Behavioral. The folks I interviewed with were cordial, and the interview was relaxed. I appreciate the fact that they were very receptive to folks who may not have had much direct experience in the digital advertising industry -- and were even very encouraging with the knowledge I had picked up from independent research and a strong desire to work in the space. Folks really loved the industry, liked the space, and told a really compelling, consistent story about the product and the company

Interviewed Feb 2012 (took a day)
Very odd interviewing process. Got a call about a week after applying and they pretty much wanted me in their office the next day without evening screening me on the phone which is not what I'm used to. Recruiter was not personable at all and it was difficult to hold a conversation with him. Went in 2 days later for an interview. Had a one on one with the hiring manager and a one on one with HR. While both people were very nice, neither person I talked to really seemed to be overly excited about their jobs and the job I was applying for was described to me much different than what was presented in the job description. I also felt like they had something againt my corporate work history versus an agency setting which left me wondering why I was even being considered. I left feeling very underwhelmed and knew it was not the place for me.
