First round phone interview with HR last about 30 minutes. Invited for an in-person interview within a week. Scheduling was for a couple of weeks from the invitation. Met with 6 different people ranging from HR to upper management. It was a very long day, as I flew in and out of Cincinnati on the actual interview day and no lunch was provided. I also didn't get to see much of the building or meet people on the team outside of those with whom I interviewed.

Communications by email until phone interview. They went over basic questions and through why I wanted the CRA position. Described the position quite a bit and then told me they would contact me later. They emailed to schedule an in person interview at their campus, which is quite a fantastic place. It was a three person interview, they came in one by one and talked about the position and went through my resume. Also wrote a paragraph about a prompt, it was to check whether I can communicate effectively.

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeksinterviewed at Medpace in October 2014.

    Interview Details

I originally submitted my resume through their website and was contacted within 48 hours to set up a phone interview. Two days later I spoke with HR and the conversation lasted about 50 minutes and was focused on the job description, the company, and my personal accomplishments and I ended it by asking about eight questions. I was told that they would be in touch within a week or so if they would like a in person interview and within five days we scheduled the interview for two weeks later. The interview was at their amazing office and was about three hours and I met with two CRA managers back to back and two HR reps at the same time. They reviewed my experience, accomplishments, research history and goals, and future goals in the career. I was also asked to complete a written assessment to review my writing style and language. I originally interviewed for the Senior Intern position; however, I was offered a CRA I position instead.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeksinterviewed at Medpace in August 2014.

    Interview Details

Had a phone interview with 2 HR reps. It went will, they asked about why I wanted to work at Medpace and my background. I asked them about 7 questions. They answered all and that kept the interview from being like 10 mins. Then they emailed me to schedule a face to face about 2 weeks out. The face to face was 3 interviews in 1. HR rep, Project Coordinator, then Manager. All 3 went great. Very nice ladies and I made them all laugh. Was offered the job the following day.

I met with two managers of the training department and was specifically hired for my specialty background so I was able to demand a much hire salary than the average. I think people typically meet with three managers but again I was probably fast-tracked based on my oncology nursing background.

I told them I would not leave my current job for less than $65,000 and I was surprised they gave it to me so easily. Yet later I realized I was making much less and hour than the nursing job I came from because I was only calculating it based on a 40 hour work week.

Received a phone interview via email. They called me at the scheduled time and asked like three questions before ending the call. The interview barely lasted 10 minutes. It seemed like she was in a hurry to begin with.

Just had a phone interview and the recruiter asked me to go through my resume and asked some questions about my clinical experience. Asked me how I would handle managing clinical projects rather than doing them on my own since this was purely a managerial position.

Overall the hiring process was long and and exhausted. There were alot of behavioral and situational questions, which was fine, but in my opinion....four remote interviews is a bit much with extended gaps with replies.

I applied online. The process took 2+ monthsinterviewed at Medpace in May 2014.

    Interview Details

I applied online the very last week in March and was contacted in April to do my first phone interview with a CRA manager. The first phone interview was very weird. Instead of being asked questions, it was mostly the manager telling me about the position and what it entails while they take notes on your answers. It was mostly like an information session with strategic questioning in order to see if they want to consider you further. At the end of the first phone interview I was told that my notes from the first interview would be analyzed and a second phone interview would be set if they still wanted to consider me.

The second interview was your typical phone interview where they get a feel for your character & how you are able to sell yourself. It is important during this interview to make sure you are able to interact well with the person conducting the interview. During this process they strategically want to see how you would interact with sponsors if you were hired. Make sure during this process you are able to clearly convey your CV credentials.

After my second phone interview I was offered a Face-to-Face interview at the Dallas(Irving,Tx) location. I was interviewed by two ppl at once which was a CRA manager and Lead CRA. It was a typical Q&A type of interview. I was asked what salary range I wanted and it was added to my file. After all of the questions I took a writing assessment and the question was to describe why a CRA is important in the CRO industry. You get about 15mins to write a response and turn it in.

After my interview I received a call the next day saying that they were really impressed with my interview and offered me another position and wanted to see if I was open to be considered for more than one position. I received my final offer a week later. The entire process did take a awhile & I accepted my offer in the beginning of May. Overall I would say the process was fairly smooth.
