The description presented here is misleading. The candidate is not asked to memorize anything - they are asked to deliver a script which they have in front of them and are expected to use. The key thing is to see if the person has the skill to communicate research they have not done in a way that is compelling, insightful, and engaging. Few people can do it. The ones who can have proven to be some of the most valuable assets CEB ever had (though sadly the company no longer seems to realize this).
