I uderstood that one of the employees was moving out of the area because her husband had taken a job out of state. I made a phone call to inquire about the position and was asked to come in and discuss the job and it's responsibilities. Because I had worked up a resume previously, I took a copy with me. I have known several of the employees at the hospital because of the type of work that I perform at my current job. In human resources companies often share resources regarding former employees, benefits, etc. to assist each other with employment. The person that interviewed me was very professional, open and honest about their expectations of the right candidate. The work culture is different than manufacturing because they do not deal with the same kind of issues on a production/shop floor.
