Interviewed Nov 2010 (took a day)
The interview process was very laid back and consisted of describing the job details and my duties I would be performing. I was then asked many behavioral questions and what I would do in different situations. The interviewer was very positive and described the many advantages in working for Miami and the opportunities they provided for their employees.

Interviewed Mar 2008 in Oxford, OH (took a day)
The phone interview was perfunctory, but followed up by a lengthier interview with the chair, who mostly talked about commitment to research, even though it's a teaching position, and a visiting one at that. I also spent time with the field chair and talked though my research.

I was brought into a room, spoke with the hiring manager, and took a tour of the building. I was shown where things were located and how the system of managment worked. It was a fairly easy and low-key intereview.

Interviewed Apr 2009 in Oxford, OH (took 4+ weeks)
The Office of Residence Life prefers to take their new employees from face-to-face interviews at OPE and NASPA. I could not attend either, and was offered a phone interview instead. The people were very nice, and two people interviewed me at the same time. Before the interview, they informed me of who would be my interviewers.
