I applied online not thinking I was going to get the job because I was running out of hope for finding a job at that point. About three days later I called for a follow up and told to come in the following Thursday. I went in and was interviewed for about 5 minutes by the manager who looked super strict but extremely kind at the same time. She asked me general questions about what I thought good customer service was, what type of person I was and what my requirements were, if I was ok with only working part-time.. etc. She hired me on the spot and told me she wanted me to come in for training and to fill out some paper-work that Saturday and by Wednesday I started working.

Strangely difficult interview for a job that seemingly doesn't require a lot of knowledge or experience. The manager was kind of rude as well. Alot of questions were asked, strengths/weaknesses, and a lot of situations

I applied online, and got called in about a week later. Of course I was nervous as it was my first interview, but the store manager didn't help at all. It seemed as if he acted menacing to test me, and it honestly freaked me out. We discussed my work experience, and he told me about the company and its clubs, etc It made me feel nervous, as I didn't know if I should have commented on that or anything.
The whole thing lasted about 10-15 minutes. Really quick.
I dressed in Jeans, white tshirt, and a cardigan.

I submitted my application via their website, and called two days later to follow up. The manager was on lunch so I left my name and she called me back within two hours. We scheduled an interview two days from then. I went in, sat down with the store manager and she asked me some questions about my previous experience, what types of things I did there, etc. It took about 20 minutes, if I remember correctly. Two days later she called and offered me a job, and I started the next week.

Called in for an interview with the Assistant Manager which was easy and short. A couple days later I got another call asking to come in for a second interview with the store manager. This interview was a bit longer then the first but was still equally as easy and I was offered the job immediately after finishing the interview.

I applied online and then did a 1 on 1 interview. Just be yourself. They'll ask you what experience you have and what skills you have. Tell them about your interest in crafts and that you have nice interpersonal communication skills.Tell them you are hard working. I was interviewed without any previous job experience, but I convinced them that I was enthusiastic and willing to learn.

I recently was called back for an interview at Michael's Arts and Crafts and the interview process was very nice. The store manager that interviewed me was very polite, nice, and quite humerous as well.
