First, it took me six months of filing different application to be asked to interview. Met with the Front End Supervisor. He directed me to a computer where I took a IQ test and personality profile. After the test, we sat done and he told me the results. He then asked questions relating to the job and then he offered me the Front End Lead position which was an automatic raise from customer service rep.

my initial communication was to call them on the phone after seeing an ad in the newspaper and hearing about the position from a banner on the street in front of their store held up with a lot of rope on all sides of the sign which was very white.

Applied online and was contacted about a week later and an interview was set up for the next day. The interview was very casual and the interviewer was very lady back and seemed fairly candid about his experience with the company. It seemed like he asked questions that were of concern to him and was not simply reading off a set, standard list of questions. It was not a hard interview.

After applying online they bring you in for a group interview with other possible new hires. After that initial interview they take you into a small room with 2 computers to do a Skills Test and Personality Test. If you pass these they will call you back for a drug screening and send you on your way with a voucher to go to a clinic to take the test 90% of the time if you make it to this portion of the interviewing process you have the job.

Negotiation Details
There is no negotiations, all wages are controlled from home office and it is what it is. If you work in systems (PC Sales or Mac Sales) your pay scale is dependent on how much and how well you sell service plans. In DI/BYOPC you work a strict 1.5% primary (usually the highest price item on the ticket) and 2.5% on everything else on the ticket. GSA is a strict 1.5% for everything and all this is on top of your base pay of $4.00. Cashiers make 8.00 and warehouse varies while the managers get paid generously.
