Interview Details – got the interview from university recruit, it was in a 1v1 setting, questions were straightforward, and ended with a brain teaser. went over the job requirement and descriptions and your resume. afterwards I received a round 2 at their building, there were three separate 1v1 interviews, each with a lead. again its the same process as round 1. just harder brain teasers.

Interview Details – There were two rounds of the interview process (first on the phone or on campus, second in the main office). In both, various logic questions are asked along with some HR questions as well.

Negotiation Details – The entry rate is non negotiable if you are entry level, but it is very easy to move up in MicroStrategy.

Interview Details – Received a 1:1 on-campus interview from college recruiting. Questions were easy/straightforward and ended with one brainteaser.
Heard back about a week later and scheduled a 1/2 day on-site interview. The office building was nice. Everyone seemed fairly laid back and casual, as was the interviews (3 round, about 30 minutes each). The questions again were straightforward, no behavior questions even. Each interviewer also asked 3 brain teasers each.
Received an offer about one week later.

Interview Question – IF you had 2 hourglasses, one timed exactly 7 minutes and the other 3 minutes, how can you use them to count exactly 6 minutes continuously?   View Answers (2)

Interview Details – One phone call review and two on-site reviews.
'IQ test' favored as always. One question for phone call review and three for each on-site review, which seem to be easier that those asked for SET or SE.
The offer was given two weeks after the last review.

Interview Question – No strange quesitons actually. Questions were asked about customer compliant handling and emergent request acceptance.   Answer Question

No Offer – Interviewed in Mar 2012 – Reviewed Apr 25, 2012

Interview Details – interviewed for first round on-campus 1:1, with standard interview questions; no behavioral. answered one analytical/brain teaser question; lasted about 40 minutes. heard back few days later for second round, which consisted of three 1:1 interviews, 30-40 minutes each (each interviewer asked an analytical question towards the end of their session. regardless of whether you received an offer or not, you'll hear back in about two weeks.

Interview Question – one of the analytical questions entailed the hour-glass problem, where you have two hour-glasses measuring different times and trying to time, for instance, 11 minutes together.   Answer Question

Interview Details – Round 1 interview
 -was just a skim through on what your skills are, what they are expecting from you and then ended with a mind challenging question

Round 2
This is a set of three interviews, 2 with leads of the support and one with the director. In this preocess they ask you some technical questions as well as analytical questions.

They follow up with you in a matter of week.

Interview Question – If you are in a hotel, how would you figure out how many people on average are staying in a hotel. You can ask as many questions to figure it out.   View Answers (3)
