Microsoft Software Development Engineer Interview

Posted Apr 11, 2012

No Offer – Interviewed in Seattle, WA Apr 2012 – Reviewed Apr 11, 2012

Interview Details – Pretty straightforward and generic data structure and algorithm questions on linked lists and array operations. Overall did well, but no offers. I think they were looking for someone who codes really well vs someone who comes up with good solutions but only pseudocode

Interview Question – sort an array N consists of four numbers, each number can be repeated k times, where k < n. Example: sort 1111144422223 to 1111122223444. Try to be as efficient as you can, not just O(n^2)   View Answers (3)

Other Details - I applied through a recruiter and the process took a day.
