Interviewed Aug 2010 in The Dalles, OR (took 1+ week)
The interview process went very smoothly. I was from out of town so we started with a phone interview. That went well, so I was invited to interview in person. I initially met with three people from the department I would be working with. They all had a script of questions and took turns asking. That part felt stale, as if my answers didn't drive further questioning. The interview was a behavioral interview; I needed to draw from previous personal experiences to answer the majority of the questions. I returned for a second in-person interview with my future manager and additional co-workers. The whole process took about 10 days. It was difficult to reach the recruiters due to high hiring volume at that time. That was the only negative experience.
