Interviewed Sep 2010 (took 3 weeks)
The interview process seemed to take longer than I anticipated it would. The actual interview lasted and hour and a half, but the waiting process was about three weeks. This was due to the hiring manager being on vacation in the middle of the interviewing process and having to interview other candidates.

Interviewed May 2011 (took 3 weeks)
My first interaction occured with the HR dept. She was very nice and personable. My 2nd interview was with the department manager. The interview itself was not bad, I just don't think we "clicked". Even though I didn't get the job the process worked well.

Interviewed Jun 2010 in Bedford, MA (took 6 days)
Phone interview consisted of going through my resume with one behavioral question at the end. 2nd interview was 1:1 with HR person followed by panel interview with engineers, and then a tour of the facilities. Questions were not so much questions, as they were: "tell me more about this project you did at this job"

Interviewed May 2010 (took 1+ week)
Applied on a job board. First had a phone screening, asked questions about experience and education. About a week and a half later had an on site interview with 4 seperate people, 3 I would be working with and 1 from HR to see if I fit into their corperate culture. Interview style was friendly and open. Mostly questions about experience, with a few what would you do questions. Overall positive experience.

Interviewed Jul 2010 in Boston, MA (took 2 weeks)
I knew the postion from one of my friends, who got it from a recruiter. Had a phone interview first with the recruiter and it went pretty well.Dig out a little bit more information from the recruiter. The phone interview with the hiring manager was about half hour and more focused on scientific side as usual. Specifically asked the solution for the technical difficulty they have right now and what's my suggestion. Provided a couple of potential new ideals while different from what they are trying. The one i think may not lead to a success depending on the level of tolerance. All went ok in genral, while they think that they are looking for somebody with closer experience in the specific area. It is difficult to control how much you should tell in detail if they ask the specific technical question. As you know sometimes people just fish creative ideas.
