Interviewed Jan 2009 in Bangalore (India) (took 3 days)
At that time the company was known as Aztecsoft (later acquired completely by MindTree), The resume was posted in a famous job portal.
Some job consultant approched me as she found my resume on that portal, She explained me the opening, asked for my updated resume, current CTC, expected CTC, reason for change etc. and Asked some basic technical questions.
Then my resume was shortlisted and sent to MindTree's one of the PM (as it was a project specific requirement), they also shortlisted the resume by looking at it, and the PM asked one of his technical manager to take telephonic round.
The technical telephonic round was very techical and really impressive (techy questions were asked). After telephonic I was informed by job consultant that I had clear that round.
Then they asked me to come to their place (Aztecsoft, now MindTree office) for face to face round. Face to face round was also really very techy and enjoyable.
Immediatly after Technical round, HR round was there (for salary negotiation, and for expalining salary structure, position offered etc.)
It took many days [around 15 days] (and I had to follow-up) to get the offer letter.
Interview Questions
Negotiation Details
They will negotiate in HR round, and also when they finally send offer letter mail (over phone). and try to give as less as possible.
So if interview was good, and your expected salary is in range with the position offered, don't negotiate much at both HR round and over phone.
Other Details
I got the interview through a Staffing Agency and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview and a Background Check.

Interviewed Mar 2010 in Bangalore (India) (took 3 weeks)
I'd applied to the firm seeking an opportunity to work in a smaller ambitious firm. After hearing a lot of positive reviews by the media, I thought it would be a good place for a consulting role. After the phone interview, I was promised another interview on a date. Making all arrangements to take the interview, I never heard from them. After 2 weeks, I get a call that some senior and "expert" Director of XYZ at MindTree is going to have a discussion with you. I was impressed at the attention they gave to my application but later came to be proven otherwise. I was interviewed by this Director who didn't even speak proper English, was very proud and arrogant. The most irritating part was that he didn't even know my name and called me a name of his choice throughout the interview (this was very irritating). The interview was lifeless and he asked a few questions which I answered. He later asked me a question from my area of expertise and he had a different view on the answer which was completely wrong. Even a quick Google search will prove that he was wrong. He wanted me to accept his answer, which I didn't and I stood firm with what I knew was right. In the end, I asked him for feedback on the interview and he explained a wrong understanding of the concept. All in all, poorly planned interview (didn't even know my name) with incompetent Director level person. Avoid at all cost unless you have no other option. If you're looking for applying new skills or specific high-value skills you've learnt, please stay away. A poor interview only reflects how bad the work life would be under these people.

Interviewed Apr 2008 in Bangalore (India) (took 3 days)
I had been shortlisted for the position of a Business Analyst. First there was a telephonic round where another BA from Mindtree called me and conducted the interview. During the course of the interview, I was asked the reason why I was looking for a change of job, to which I replied that the main reason for me looking out was to shift from the Commercial banking domain to the Investment banking domain. Overall the interview went quite well and I was told that there would be another round of interview in person.
A couple of days later the face-to-face interview was arranged and the interviewer was a senior consultant in Mindtree. This is where things went not quite right. I was again asked the same question - reason for change - to which I again gave the same reply. This is the point where the "senior consultant" started getting agitated and said we are not looking for someone in the Investment banking side but we want someone who will be a part of the growing Commercial banking team and went to the extent of saying if I was not interested in the Commercial banking domain, then we were wasting time having the interview.
This is where I decided that no matter what, I am not going to take this up and vowed never to apply here again. Such a gross miscommunication I feel is highly unprofessional and ultimately I was blamed as if I had not mentioned my objective clearly.

Interviewed Dec 2009 in Bangalore (India) (took a day)
The staffing consultant sent a hiring mail and I responded with my updated resume. The phone interview was scheduled for the afternoon 3 days later.
The call was a conference call with the interviewer being present with another colleague of his [perhaps the manager].
The interview started off with the basics of Java in terms of architecture in how a Java program is executed in the environment. Later it progressed into some detailed topics like Threads, Stream classes and Collections.
The questions were not prepared and were more dependent on the answers being given. So I am assuming that the direction to the interview can be controlled by the interviewee.
They are looking for people who are strong in the fundamentals of their programming language [viz. Java here]. It will be easy for a person to clear this round with a strong fundamental background.
I do not know how many more rounds there would have been if the phone interview was cleared.
