Business Analyst Interview (Neutral Experience)
Interviewed at Mitchell Madison Group
Interview Details – This was a Good process overall-- one of the best actually. The recruiting stayed in contact throughout. Interviewers were very knowledgable and engaged. General strategy consulting preparation was key. Remember this is client service so be sure to consider emphasizing your love of travel and working in small consulting teams.
Interview Question – Series of business cases. Mix of different types. Minimal brain teaser type questions. Answer Question
Business Analyst Interview (Neutral Experience; Difficult Interview)
I interviewed at Mitchell Madison Group in February 2014.
Interview Details – Majority of the interview will be case interviews which will test how an individual thinks. If the interviewer thinks you are having a hard time, he/she will guide you. There is no need to review a lot of stuffs for the cases, you just need to know the basics like knowing how to solve for the target market. Be prepared for solving a lot of things.
Interview Question – The unexpected question for me would be the icebreaker question. "You are inside a room with three switches. These switches are for the three light bulbs in another room. If you can only visit the other room once, how will you know which switch is for which light bulb?" Answer Question
Business Analyst Interview (Positive Experience; Difficult Interview)
I applied through college or university and the process took 2 months - interviewed at Mitchell Madison Group in December 2009.
Interview Details – The interview generally falls into three stages. Your resume should stand out because they usually get from the top of top universities. An initial interview regarding your experiences and expectations is made, then those who passed the initial will proceed to the second interview. The second interview consist of an on the spot case presentation. (The key here is knowing the way you think, process, and solve problems.) The third interview will be conducted online with the US Partner.
Interview Question – Basic interview questions and a random case question which is most likely related to a specific thing you mentioned during the interview. (Ex. If you mentioned you like fashion.. the question can be.. how large is the market for lipsticks in the country?) Answer Question
